Art of Amanda Barker

Movies, books, and stories of all kinds have influenced me and inspired me for as long as I can remember.  In 2013, I attended Laguna College of Art and Design and was blessed to receive a Merit Scholarship.  I graduated Spring of 2017 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Illustration with an emphasis in Entertainment. Since then, I've had the opportunity to do some exciting freelance work including a short story comic and concept art for a film pitch.   At the beginning of 2018, I began a position at Cryptozoic Entertainment, where I have had many opportunities to grow and learn about the entertainment industry.  I have had the opportunity to follow products from it's initial drawing, to sculpting, to prototypes, to sales support, to marketing, to selling it to the fans themselves.  It's amazing to have touched every part of the lifespan of the products I care about.  I've also continued working in freelance under the title of Robin's Feather Illustration.  Hope to see you at Comic Con one day!
